We are excited to offer free online mindfulness sessions for health professionals, key workers and local authority staff across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) area.

What is Month of Mindfulness?

It is a weekly series of bespoke, 30 minute sessions led by Breathworks which build a regular mindfulness practice as an approach to improving wellbeing and resilience. The sessions are designed to build weekly, but you can also join drop-in to sessions. 

Open to all staff - health professionals, key workers, local authority, emergency services staff across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) area.

Dates to book:

  • Tuesday 20, 27 September, 4 and 11 October (1pm to 1.30pm)
  • Thursday 13, 20 and 27 October and 3 November (12.30pm to 1pm)
  • Wednesday 9, 16, 23 and 30 November (5pm to 5.30pm)

What is the Mindfulness in the Workplace course about?

Learn the skills of mindfulness and compassion and how to apply them at work and at home. This is a hands on, interactive course. You'll try lots of different, practical ways to bring mindfulness into your life - that you can take away with you for long-lasting change.

These include movement, guided meditations, group discussions and exercises and tips on how to bring these into your daily life.

What it includes:

  • 12 hours online training, over six weeks (two hour sessions per week)
  • live teaching and virtual classroom discussion
  • 10 minute home practice sessions
  • Access to materials and resources

The six-week course will run Thursdays from 12pm-2pm on the following dates:

  • 10 November
  • 17 November
  • 24 November
  • 1 December
  • 8 December
  • 15 December
