As schools reopen from the summer holidays, teachers and education staff have had the opportunity to unwind, relax and recharge.
The Keeping Well BLMK service are here to support individuals working in a school environment or education system to continue taking care of your mental health and wellbeing after returning from a break.
For teachers, distress can stem from both the related health risks and the increased workload of teaching in new and challenging ways. This can lead to burnout, resulting in high rates of absenteeism, and can even lead some teachers to leave their jobs, undermining efforts to build school resilience.
We have a dedicated support for teachers page where you can find advice, guidance and signposting materials to share.
